Franz Leibinger

Franz Leibinger (born August 26, 1976 in Spaichingen ) is a German singer and professional tennis coach .

Life

After attending elementary and secondary school in Mühlheim an der Donau , he trained as a state-certified tennis teacher at a sports school at the age of 18 . In 1995 he reached number 413 in the tennis world rankings . He was training partner of Marc Rosset and Sergi Bruguera .

After a car accident in 1998, Franz Leibinger had to take a long break from playing tennis, after which he was unable to get involved in professional tournament play. From 2001 he worked as a professional tennis trainer; he has been training Darija Jurak , a Croatian Fed Cup player and top 80 of the WTA world rankings in doubles , since 2007 .

Franz Leibinger started his musical career in 1990. From then until 1998 he was the singer of the cover band “Toxer's”, which at that time offered a six-hour stage program with international hits. He then became the front man of the rock band “Hard to handle” and brought in songs that he had composed and written himself. In 2000 he joined the boy band "@ LPIN.AG", whose trademark was wearing lederhosen . Appearances in television programs followed, e.g. B. at " Feste der Volksmusik " ( ARD ) and the " Grand Prix of Folk Music " ( ZDF ) and engagements at party events.

After the dissolution of "@ LPIN.AG", he was recruited by Uwe Hübner in 2006 for the cast of the singing duo " NeuerdinXx ", to which Torben Klein belongs next to him . At that time, Leibinger accompanied the promotion tour of the World Cup truck for the 2006 World Cup for people with disabilities through Germany with “NeuerdinXx” and appeared in front of 15,000 fans at the opening ceremony in the Lanxess Arena , as in the stadiums (e.g. the BayArena in Leverkusen in front of 35,000 people) where the games take place.

Franz Leibinger now lives in Cologne and heads the production company Filmklub Entertainment there. This produces music videos for numerous customers such as Universal Music Group , Sony Music Entertainment or Warner Music Group , with stars such as Thomas Anders , Howard Carpendale , DJ Ötzi or Bars and Melody . Promotional videos or image films are also produced for customers such as the Cologne transport company .
