Franz Ludwig Grasso

Franz Ludwig Grasso (born August 25, 1798 in Brakel , † March 4, 1870 in Delbrück ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator.

Life

Franz Ludwig Grasso was born as the son of the married couple Philipp Joseph Grasso (rural physician) and Maria Agnes Ferdinande Grothe and learned agriculture for three years after attending the Paderborn high school . He then studied Cameralia at the University of Göttingen . On March 15, 1820, he was entrusted by the Minden district government with the municipal administration of the cantonal civil servant in Delbrück and, after being appointed cantonal civil servant, also with the administration of the cantons of Kirchborchen and Neuhaus . He was elected deputy of the Paderborn district and passed the oral examination for district administration with the district government of Minden on August 21, 1834 with the result "excellent qualification". On June 4, 1842, he took over the municipal administration of the Paderborn District Office and one month later was elected by the District Council as the first candidate for the District Office with an absolute majority. The definitive appointment as district administrator of the Paderborn district was on November 11, 1842. Grasso was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives , was state commissioner of the Boker Heide melioration cooperative and a member of the Westphalian antiquity society . He was also director of the Paderborn agricultural district association. Grasso married Maria Luise Mumpero in Delbrück in 1824.
