Franz Paul Enzinger

Franz Paul Enzinger (born March 28, 1945 in Neumarkt am Wallersee ) is an Austrian teacher trainer and author.

Life

Franz Paul Enzinger was born as the fourth of four children as the son of a miller in 1945 in Neumarkt am Wallersee. After primary school in Sighartstein , secondary school in Straßwalchen and teacher training institute in Salzburg, Enzinger became a primary school teacher in 1964. In 1971 he passed the teaching examination for polytechnic schools , in 1972 the secondary schools (German, geography and economics, handicrafts, social studies and contemporary history). Enzinger became a teacher at the elementary school Irrsdorf , in 1965 at the elementary school Neumarkt aW, in 1969 at the secondary school in Neumarkt. Since 1974 Enzinger has been a lecturer and course director at the Federal Pedagogical Institute in Salzburg, since 1977 teacher for elementary school didactics , school practice, subject-specific and subject-didactic subjects at the Federal Pedagogical Academy in Salzburg . In 1994 he became department head of the Pedagogical Academy for the management of the primary school and practical school studies for teaching at secondary schools. He headed the advanced course "Preparation for the Teaching Examination for Polytechnic Schools" and the academy course " Museum Education " (since 2001).

Enzinger got involved with the scouts (1959-1965) and worked in the SOS Children's Village Seekirchen am Wallersee (1964-1967). For 18 years he was a member of the board of directors and chairman of the parish council in Neumarkt am Wallersee. 1967–1973 he headed the Salzburger Bildungswerk in Neumarkt aW twelve times over the overall direction of the "Flachgau Advent". 1970–1977 he was district advisor for the youth book club. 1986–1996 Enzinger was director of the Salzburg teacher's house and chairman of the teacher's house brass orchestra. Since 1998 he has been a member of the Austrian UNESCO Commission, and since 1999 chairman of the Neumarkt a. W., since 2002 federal deputy of the Christian faculty of Austria.
