Franz Pesahl (life dates unknown) was a German football player .

Pesahl belonged to SSV Jahn Regensburg , for whom he played point games as a striker in the Gauliga Bayern , one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Reich . In the 1940/41 season , when it finished fifth, he was used in the competition for the Tschammerpokal , the cup competition for club teams introduced in 1935. In his only game on July 12, 1941 in the 2: 6 first round defeat against TSV 1860 Munich , he even scored a goal with a penalty to make it 2: 3 in the 60th minute .

Selection team

As a player in the Bavarian regional selection team , he previously took part in the competition for the Reichsbund Cup in 1939/40 . With his use on May 19, 1940 at Giesings heights in Munich in the 2-0 victory in the semifinals over the Gau selection team Ostmark , he contributed to the later win of his team. This won the final on June 30, 1940 in Augsburg 3: 1 over the Saxony district selection team .
