Franz Szivatz
Franz Szivatz (born July 2, 1925 in Neufeld an der Leitha ; † January 9, 2003 in Vienna ) was an Austrian set designer and architect .
Life
The son of Franz Tomich and Wilma Zaza worked after his studies with Professor Otto Niedermoser at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (degree: Magister) at the Vienna Theater as a set designer . In the film business, Szivatz was involved in various films as a set designer and often worked with Sepp Rothauer . Later he and Erich Millbacher became partners in the architecture office founded in 1976 by Rothauer's son Sepp Rothauer junior . As a professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, he led a master class for stage and film design .
