biography

Jünger grew up with her mother in (East) Berlin , where she still lives today. During her training as a doctor's assistant , she was discovered for the cinema by the director Sylke Enders in 2001 . Enders was able to win Jünger for her dffb film Kroko , which is also Jünger's debut film and her first leading role. As the “blond poison of Berlin's backyards”, it impressed both the critics and the audience. In 2004 the film Kroko received the Silver Lola at the German Film Prize .

Despite this success, Jünger stuck to her training as a medical assistant, which she completed in January 2004. As an actress, she stood at the same time for Detlev Buck's ghetto drama Knallhart and Sylke Enders' dffb graduation film Hab mich lieb! in front of the camera.

Director Hanno Olderdissen and author Clemente Fernandez-Gil won the First Steps Award for short films in 2008 for the film Robin with Jünger in the leading role .
