Women & History Baden-Württemberg
Frauen & Geschichte Baden-Württemberg eV is a state-wide non-profit association with the aim of strengthening the participation of women in history science and history in Baden-Württemberg . He is committed to equality between men and women.

The association was founded in September 1994 and has around 120 women members. They work as historians , educators , cultural scientists in universities, schools, archives and museums or as freelance scientists. The association works in an interdisciplinary , interinstitutional, non-denominational way and is not affiliated to any party. He is a member of the Baden-Württemberg State Women's Council . The association's office is located in Tübingen .
The goals of the association are to take up and coordinate the interests of women who work historically, to expand the proportion of women in historical studies and to anchor historical women and gender research in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Since 2008 the association has been working with the Stuttgarter Frauenmuseum e. V. merged.
The association regularly organizes conferences, carries out public relations work and sets up a database of historically working women in Baden-Württemberg. He organizes working groups and writes publications on women's and gender history.
In 2019, the association was in charge of organizing the celebratory event in the Baden-Württemberg association to mark 100 years of women's suffrage.
The chairwoman of the association is the historian Sylvia Schraut , the second chairwoman is the Karlsruhe literary scholar and head of the Karlsruhe cultural office, Susanne Asche .
