Frederick George Jackson (* 20th February 1981 ) is a former American American football poker players in the position of running backs . Most recently he played as running back for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL).
NFL
Sioux City Bandits
After Jackson failed to gain a foothold in the NFL, he began playing for the Sioux City Bandits in 2004 . There he played one season and the National Indoor Football League (2004) and another in the United Indoor Football (2005). In 2005 he was elected co- MVP of United Indoor Football.
Rhine Fire
Jackson played in 2006 in the NFL Europe for Rhein Fire , where he ran most of the team with 731 yards.
Buffalo Bills
Jackson was invited to the Buffalo Bills ' training camp in 2006 by the Bills' general manager, Marv Levy , also a graduate of Coe College. There he was able to convince and was accepted into the squad. Before the 2009 season, the Bills extended Jackson's contract for four years.
In 2009, in week 12, he ran more than 1,000 yards in one season for the first time in his career. Jackson also had 1,014 kickoff return yards, making him the first player in NFL history to walk more than 1,000 yards and have more than 1,000 kickoff return yards in one season.
On May 5, 2012, the Bills extended Jackson's contract by two years. On August 31, 2015, the Bills released Jackson.
Seattle Seahawks
On September 7, 2015, the Seattle Seahawks signed Jackson for one season. With the Seattle Seahawks Jackson achieved a play-off participation for the first time in 2015, which he set a record by being the oldest play-off debutant on the position of running back in NFL history (34 years).

In April 2018, he signed a one-day contract to officially retire from professional football as a Buffalo Bills player.
