Frederick Fred Sydney Stolle (born October 8, 1938 in Hornsby , Sydney ) is a former Australian tennis player .

In his career he won the men's singles at the French Open in 1965 and US Open in 1966. The titles at the Australian Championships and Wimbledon , he could never win, although he was twice at the Australian Open and three times at the English Championships in the finals.

In doubles he was even more successful than in singles. He won the Australian Open three times, Wimbledon twice, the French Open twice and the US Open three times. Mostly his partner was Bob Hewitt , but he also won titles alongside Roy Emerson and Ken Rosewall . In mixed he was victorious a total of five times in Grand Slam tournaments .

With the Australian team he won the Davis Cup from 1964 to 1966 .
