Freddy the Donkey is an evangelical radio play series for children, which was published from 1985 to 2003 by Schulte & Gerth on compact cassette and compact disc . In the individual radio plays, Freddy the donkey experiences a lot of adventures together with his best friend Eugen Eule and other animal friends.

Reception and implementation

In 2015, the Catholic Singing School Ravensburg performed a children's musical based on the radio play His Second Journey in the Christkönigskirche in Ravensburg , Baden-Württemberg . In addition, the children's musical Freddy the Donkey was played in the zoo in the Wilgartishalle in Wilgartswiesen in Rhineland-Palatinate in 2018 . It is based on the radio play series Im Zoo from 1985.

In 2020, Freddy author Olaf Franke published an illustrated new version of Freddy's second trip on his YouTube channel.
