Frederik Liebmann
Frederik Michael Liebmann (born October 10, 1813 in Helsingør , † October 29, 1856 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish botanist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is “ Liebm. "
Live and act
Liebmann was director of the Copenhagen Botanical Gardens . From 1841 to 1843 he made a trip to Mexico . He was editor of the Flora Danica Volume 41 to 43 (1845 to 1852) and the delivery 1 of the supplement from 1853 (together with Johan Martin Christian Lange ).
Honors
The algae genus Liebmannia J. Agardh is named after Liebmann .
