Frederike Demattio (born June 8, 1965 in Bozen , South Tyrol ) is a German-Italian author and coach living in Austria .

Training

Grew up in South Tyrol, Demattio graduated from the Humanistic Gymnasium in Bozen in 1984 and then studied law in Florence . She continued this from 1987 in Vienna, then shifted her focus to literary studies and completed her master's degree in German studies in 1989 . In 1992 she completed the course in cultural management at the Institute for Cultural Management in Vienna, to which she completed further training in the field of cultural mediation ( museum education ) at the Fundación la Caixa, Barcelona. In 2006 she completed the course for free editing at the Academy of the German Book Trade in Munich, in 2007 the course for trainers with economic and social skills, in 2009 the diploma course in Systemic Coach (BFI Vienna), 2011 the course in learning counseling and learning support and in 2012 the training for life - and social advisor .

After teaching at the Vienna Goethe Institute , Demattio was first a production assistant from 1992, then head of the legal department and personnel officer at the Wiener Festwochen . In 2001 she took over the program management of the Athesia Taschenbuchverlag in Bozen (South Tyrol) and from 2005 to 2009 program management of the Vienna Metroverlag . She also became known as the author of numerous non-fiction books and through the translation and editing of the book 'Der Zweifel' by Nuccio Pepe, a novel about Palermo-Vienna and the secret archive in Herklotzgasse.

Since 2009 she has been working as a coach and trainer for learning and teaching techniques, motivation and German as a foreign language and writes specialist articles on learning coaching, informal foreign language acquisition, supervision in schools and cyberbullying.

Since 2011 she has been the editor-in-chief of the children's magazine PICO and journalist of other series of the Steyler Apostolate in St. Gabriel near Mödling .

Personal

Demattio has two daughters and lives in the Mödling district .
