Fredrik Carl Sinclair

Fredrik Carl Sinclair (born October 17, 1723 , † May 11, 1776 in Karlskrona ) was a Swedish nobleman, military man and politician.

Life

Sinclair was seriously wounded in his first military deployment in 1757 and received a life pension. In 1762 he was ridden by Queen Luise Ulrike as a rider with Crown Prince Gustav, later King Gustav III. employed. In the same year he began building the Lambohovs säteri summer palace outside Linköping . In 1766 he became Baron .

He was a councilor and count . From 1772 to 1776 he was Governor General of Swedish Pomerania .

Sinclair married Sofia Reuter af Skälboö in 1749, with whom he had three children: Catharina Sofia (1750-1818), Christina Charlotte (1750-1806) and Friedrich Sinclair (1751-1816).
