Fredrik Nordström (jazz musician)
Fredrik Nordström (* 1974 in Sandviken ) is a Swedish jazz - saxophonist ( soprano and alto saxophone ) of the modern creative .
Fredrik Nordström moved to Stockholm in 1995 and from then on played as a sideman at concerts and festivals with musicians such as Bobo Stenson , Mat Maneri , Gerald Cleaver , Tim Hagans , Björn Yttling and Lindha Kallerdah . From 2000 he also recorded a number of albums under his own name with various ensembles; Urgency was released on Dragon Records in 2000 ! among others with trumpeter Magnus Broo ; In 2001 a live album was recorded in a trio with Palle Danielsson and Fredrik Rundqvist . Nordström also worked with the 11-piece band VIBB and as a co-leader of the Dog Out and SURD formations .
