The Freilassinger Hütte is located at 1550 m above sea level. A. Height on the southern edge of the Tennengebirge . The base, built in 1934, is run as a self-catering hut and is the starting point for numerous climbing routes, round trips and crossings as well as for hikes on the high plateau. Ski tours are possible in winter, and there is also a ski slope passing by.
