Frenship is an American electro-pop duo from Los Angeles .

history

The duo formed in 2013 and is made up of James Sunderland and Brett Hite, who met while working in a sports shop. They initially made their music available via the SoundCloud platform , including the title Knives , which was produced in collaboration with the Norwegian DJ Matoma , and through which they gained greater fame for the first time.

In the summer of 2016 they released the single Capsize , on which the singer and songwriter Emily Warren participated. This received a lot of attention after a short time and recorded 44 million streams within 24 hours . The song developed into an international hit and entered the charts in numerous countries around the world. In September, Frenship released their debut EP Truce .
