Frieder Lippmann (born September 3, 1936 in Dorfchemnitz ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Thuringian state parliament.

Life and work

Frieder Lippmann is married and has two children. From 1943 to 1955 he attended elementary and high school, from which he graduated from high school. He then worked for five years as a chipper in the Saxon coal and ore mining and attended the mining engineering school in Zwickau . He left this in 1960 as a mining engineer. He then worked in the climbing service of the Schmiedefeld iron ore mine ( Maxhütte ) until 1965 . At the same time, he completed a distance learning course at the Bergakademie Freiberg . In 1965 he became a research assistant. From March to October 1990 he was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

In 1990 Frieder Lippmann became a member of the Thuringian state parliament until he left in 2004.

Political and social functions

In the second electoral term of the state parliament he was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group and was a member of the SPD state executive committee. He then worked as the economic policy spokesman for his group. He was a member of the VTI Saalfeld and TITK Schwarza (near Rudolstadt ).
