Friederike Mey (* 1991 ) is a German politician of the German Pirate Party and former chairwoman of the Schleswig-Holstein regional association.

Mey lives in Kiel and studies law . She was a co-top candidate of the Pirate Party and a direct candidate in the constituency of North Friesland South for the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein in 2017 . She was elected several times to the state arbitration court of the Schleswig-Holstein pirates. Mey was a personal assistant to the member of the state parliament and parliamentary group chairman Patrick Breyer and, following a proposal by the pirate group in the 18th Schleswig-Holstein state parliament, became a member of the 16th Federal Assembly, which met on 12 February 2017 . After the pirates' defeat in the state elections on May 7, 2017 , she was elected as the new state chairman of the party in Schleswig-Holstein on July 15, 2017.
