Friedrich Ferdinand Droste zu Füchten (* July 5, 1719 , † October 24, 1770 in Paderborn ) was cathedral dean in Münster and canon in Paderborn .
Life
Origin and family
Friedrich Ferdinand Droste zu Füchten grew up as the son of Ernst Dietrich Anton von Droste zu Füchten and his wife Ursula Sibylla von Plettenberg zu Lenhausen together with his brothers Friedrich Wilhelm (1712–1753) and Caspar Ferdinand (1713–1774) in the Westphalian noble family Droste Fear . They were the nephews of Minister Ferdinand von Plettenberg .
Act
After studying law in Würzburg , he came into the possession of the Paderborn cathedral praisees in 1741 through the renunciation of his brother Friedrich Wilhelm . In 1746 Friedrich Wilhelm resigned in his favor in Münster . On July 18, 1760 he opted for the archdeaconate Stadtlohn, which he retained until his election as cathedral dean in Münster on July 10, 1770.
