Friedrich Fuchs (politician, 1926)

Friedrich Fuchs (born January 4, 1926 in Ried im Innkreis , Upper Austria ; † April 26, 2007 in Linz , Upper Austria) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

After visiting the elementary school and three classes secondary school Friedrich Fuchs moved to the high school to which it is a war Matura took off. He then served as a soldier in the Wehrmacht for a year and a half before spending three months in prisoner-of-war Allied captivity .

After the war, Fuchs studied law and received his doctorate in 1949 . After a year of legal practice , Fuchs became an employee in the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce in 1951 . Here he made his career and last rose to the rank of Chamber Director in 1979.

Friedrich Fuchs was also a member of the board of the Upper Austrian health insurance for blue-collar workers from 1964 and was a member of the regional management of the Upper Austrian Economic Association from 1974 .

From October 1974 to October 1979, Fuchs was also a member of the Federal Council in Vienna .
