Friedrich Hölscher (architect)

Friedrich Hölscher (born January 14, 1859 in Unsen ; † after 1904 ) was a German architect .

life and work

Hölscher studied from 1885 to 1886 in Hanover at the Technical University of that time under the matriculation number 8373 as a student of Conrad Wilhelm Hase .

His works include, among others

• 1890: Hanover, New St. Nikolai Cemetery on Strangriede: cemetery chapel in the neo-Gothic style ; a new building in place of the death hall built in 1866 by the architect Ludwig Droste
• 1904: Hanover, Kirchröder Straße 43 B: Design for the - today listed - apprentice home of the Stephansstift
