Friedrich Karl Hertle

Friedrich Karl Hertle (born April 23, 1944 in Oberstdorf ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Hertle attended the St. Stephan Humanistic High School in Augsburg from 1954 to 1963 , where he graduated from high school. He then studied history, political science and education at the universities of Erlangen, London and Frankfurt am Main until 1970. From 1972 to 1987 he worked as a teacher at a comprehensive school in Hattersheim am Main.

Hertle has been a member of the Greens party since 1981. He was elected for the first time in 1987 in the twelfth electoral term of the Hessian state parliament. He was a member of the state parliament until the end of the 14th electoral term on April 4, 1999. He became a member of the Cultural Policy Committee, of which he was a member until 1996. He was also a member of the state board of trustees for adult education until 1995. From 1991 to 1998 he was a member of the Committee for Science and Art, in the 14th electoral term he was also a member of the Europe, Main and Interior Committees. From 1994 to 1996 he was chairman of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group and, in the 13th electoral term, chairman of the committee for science and the arts. He was also chairman of the interior committee from 1998 to 1999.
