Friedrich Ludwig von Kauffmann

Friedrich Ludwig von Kauffmann (born February 17, 1765 in Stuttgart , † March 9, 1843 in Urach ) was a Württemberg chief bailiff .

Life and work

The son of a Privy Council studied from 1783 to 1785 at the High School Karl in Stuttgart law . He began his professional career from 1785 to 1788 as a secretary in the ducal government in Stuttgart. From 1788 to 1811 he was senior bailiff at the Blaubeuren district office . In 1811 he was “cassirt” and had to serve six months in prison . In 1814 he was given the position of a foundation administrator in Schorndorf, and from 1815 he had to administer all the foundations of the upper offices of Schorndorf , Waiblingen and Welzheim . From 1819 to 1831 he was again active as a senior bailiff, namely atOberamt Urach . In 1831 Kauffmann retired.
