Friedrich Müller (politician, 1922)

Friedrich Müller (born March 14, 1922 in Kirrlach ; † September 14, 2014 ) was a German economist and politician of the SPD .

Life and work

After attending school, Müller first completed a commercial apprenticeship and then took part in the Second World War as a soldier . Then he began studying economics at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg , he with the examination to graduate in economics and awarded the degree of Dr. rer. pole. finished. In 1950 he became head of the business administration department at the city administration in Karlsruhe , 1954 Finance Councilor, 1959 Oberfinanzrat. In addition, since 1953 he was a lecturer at the State Technical Center in Karlsruhe. His son Wolfgang G. Müller was Lord Mayor of Lahr / Black Forest .

Müller was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament from 1956 to 1976 . From 1961 to 1972 he was also the last district administrator in the Bruchsal district before it went up in the Karlsruhe district.
