Friedrich Ferdinand Ludwig Rintelen (born May 24, 1836 in Arnsberg , † May 13, 1907 in Fiume ) was a German lawyer and politician.

Life

Friedrich Rintelen was a cousin of Viktor Rintelen . He studied law in Bonn and Heidelberg . He then completed the usual legal preparatory service . He was then from 1865 district judge in Witten . From 1867 he was special commissioner in Höxter and Arnsberg. In 1872 he was appointed to the government council. In 1875 he became general commissioner in Frankfurt an der Oder . From 1879 he was an "unskilled worker" (a kind of assistant ) at the revision board for state cultural causes . In 1881 he was appointed secret cultural judge and a short time later changed to the rank of secret government council in the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture. In 1884 he was appointed to the Secret Higher Government Council and in 1886 was appointed Reich judge . In 1896 he was appointed President of the Higher Regional Culture Court.

From 1870 to 1871 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives , where he represented the constituency of Minden 4 ( Warburg - Höxter ). He was a member of the center . From 1901 he was President of Caritas in Berlin. In 1905 he was granted honorary citizenship of the city of Arnsberg.
