Friedrich Schönwandt

Friedrich Schönwandt (born October 16, 1901 in Worms ; † January 15, 1973 ) was a Hessian politician ( FDP ) and former member of the Advisory State Committee Greater Hesse , a predecessor of the Hessian state parliament .

Dr. Friedrich Schönwandt studied political science and did his doctorate on statistical methodology. He worked as an assistant at the university and then at the Mönchengladbach employers' association, the Frankfurt Chamber of Crafts and a potash concern. He was a soldier in the Second World War and after his release from captivity from 1945 to 1960 he was chief executive of the Kassel Chamber of Crafts .

After 1945 Otto Kredel was a co-founder of the LDP and deputy state chairman of his party. In terms of local politics, he was active as an honorary city councilor in Kassel. From February 26, 1946 to July 14, 1946 he was a member of the appointed advisory state committee .
