Friedrich Schnell
Friedrich Schnelle (born October 22, 1881 in Bevensen , † March 4, 1966 in Taetendorf ) was a German lawyer. From 1933 to 1946 he was President of the Hannover Regional Church Office of the Evangelical Lutheran Regional Church of Hannover .
Life
In 1908 Friedrich Schnelle began studying law and in 1915 he completed his state law examination. After military service he was deputy magistrate in Peine and public prosecutor in Lüneburg . In 1924, Schnelle entered the church service and was senior consistory counselor in the state consistory. From November 1924 he was Oberlandeskirchenrat in the newly formed Landeskirchenamt Hannover of the Landeskirche Hannover. From 1929 to 1933 finance director there. In 1933 he became President of the State Church Office in Hanover. From 1933 to 1936 he was also chairman of the finance department of the regional church office. On September 1, 1945, he was put on hold. On November 1, 1946, he went into final retirement.
