Friedrich Volz

Friedrich Volz (born April 27, 1944 in Metzingen , † May 16, 1988 in Grafenberg ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and politics

After completing secondary school, Volz completed training and studies in high-level administration . Between 1968 and 1979 he was press spokesman in the Ministry of Finance of Baden-Württemberg .

In the early 1970s, Volz was state chairman of the Junge Union . From 1980 he was managing director of the district association of North Württemberg of the CDU . Friedrich Volz was elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg for the first time in the 1980 state election, followed by re-election in 1984 and 1988. On May 16, 1988, he died before the constituent session of the state parliament, and his substitute applicant Annemarie Hanke moved into the state parliament for him . Volz represented the Nürtingen electoral district through the direct mandate . Although Volz lived in the district of Reutlingen , his place of residence in Grafenberg belonged to what was then the district of Nürtingen before 1973 , so that Volz continued his political activities in northern Württemberg even after the district reform.

Friedrich Volz was a Protestant denomination. He was married and had two children.
