Friedrich Wilhelm Müller (politician, 1819)

Friedrich Wilhelm Müller (born September 12, 1819 in Burg-Gemünden ; † June 13, 1896 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian building councilor and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Friedrich Wilhelm Müller was the son of the magistrate Wilhelm Justus Ferdinand Müller (1791–1844) and his wife Amalie, née Follenius (1797–1872). Müller, who was Protestant, married Marie Therese (Resi) née George (1831–1904), the daughter of the MP Stefan George .

Müller studied architecture at the University of Giessen , where he received his Dr. phil. In 1840 he became an accessist at the Darmstadt superstructure inspection. In 1845 he moved to Bingen as a district builder and back in 1856 as senior building officer. From 1876 he was a lecturer in the structural engineering department of the Ministry of Finance . In 1861 he was retired.

From 1854 to 1856 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 5 / Bingen and succeeded his father-in-law.
