Life

Friedrich Zusatz, the son of a regional chief medical officer, was a government trainee in Kassel in 1933 . On May 1, 1933 , he joined the NSDAP . In March 1936 he was appointed government assessor and worked at the district office in Schweidnitz . In March 1937, the contract was transferred to the Berlin Police Headquarters. In April 1938 he worked for the Arnsberg district government .

On November 1, 1938, Friedrich surcharge was handed over to represent the district administrator in the Wittgenstein district . The contract was not originally intended as a new district administrator. Only when the Ministry of the Interior and the Gauleitung could not agree on a successor did Gauleiter Josef Wagner propose the reoccupation on March 22, 1939, to which the Ministry of the Interior agreed and converted the previous delegation into a transfer in May 1939. In June 1939 he was appointed to the government and on October 16, 1939, he was commissioned to head the Wittgenstein district.

In February or May 1940 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht (sergeant and reserve officer candidate). He fell at Sedan on June 14, 1940 .

In March 1943, Friedrich Zusatz was subsequently appointed district administrator in Wittgenstein with effect from June 1, 1940. He married on September 12, 1936 in Bonn Wera geb. Gütschow.
