Friedrich van Nispen

Friedrich van Nispen (born April 12, 1940 in Braunschweig ; † July 23, 2014 ) was a German lawyer and politician ( FDP ).

After graduating from high school, Nispen studied law and political science at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . He then entered the administrative service, worked for the regional council in Hanover from 1970 and finally was employed by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the State of Lower Saxony . He then worked as an independent lawyer and notary in Bremen .

From 1987 to 1991 Nispen was a member of the Bremen Citizenship for the FDP and served from December 11, 1991 to July 4, 1995 as Senator for Internal Affairs and Sport in the Senate of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen led by Mayor Klaus Wedemeier . On February 13, 1995, he resigned from his party in protest against the preparations to break the coalition within the FDP.
