Count Friedrich von Ahlefeldt (born April 21, 1662 in Flensburg ; † June 10, 1708 in Regensburg , Bavaria ) was Lord of Langeland , general and governor of Schleswig-Holstein .

Life

Friedrich von Ahlefeldt was the son of Friedrich von Ahlefeldt (1623–1686) and Margarethe Dorothea von Rantzau-Breitenburg and Lord of Rixingen (Réchicourt) and Langeland, where he was also governor. He was also lord of Ballegård near Sønderborg , Gråsten and Seegaard near Kliplev , privy councilor , district administrator , chamberlain and knight of the Dannebrog order . On July 31, 1688 he received the Order of the Elephants at Frederiksborg Castle . Ahlefeldt was a general of the infantry and commanded a Danish corps and the imperial auxiliaries from 1700–1708 , with whom he was able to record various victories in Bavaria and Hungary and for which he was awarded.

Friedrich von Ahlefeldt was married to Christiane Gyldenløve (* July 7, 1672, † September 12, 1689), the eldest daughter of King Christian V of Denmark and his mistress Sophie Amalie Moth from 1687 . The couple had no children.

In 1695, he married Countess Armgard Margareta von Reventlow (* August 17, 1678, † January 7, 1709), daughter of the Danish Grand Chancellor, Count Conrad von Reventlow . The only child from this marriage, a daughter, was born dead in 1696.
