Kliplev Kirke

Kliplev ( German  Klipleff ) is a Danish place with 1202 inhabitants in the Aabenraa municipality , Region Syddanmark .

The Gothic Church of the Redeemer ( Vor Frelser ) from 1450 forms the center of Kliplev Sogn . As a former pilgrimage church, it impresses with a luxurious baroque interior, numerous chapels and a roof turret that can be seen from afar.

Economy and Transport

The European route 45 runs just to the west of the village , in the north the motorway 8 to Sønderborg .

Kliplev has a stop on the Sønderborg – Tinglev railway line and is the InterCity station on the connection from Copenhagen to Sønderborg. The train stations in Bjerndrup and Lundtoft were closed in 1974.
