Friedrich Wilhelm Cramm (born September 18, 1874 in Groß Lafferde , Peine district ; † December 30, 1942 in Peine ) was a German farmer, chronicler and politician (DVP).

Live and act

Friedrich Cramm attended elementary school in Lafferde and later a private school in Oldendorf near Einbeck. In 1886 he came to the Andreas Realgymnasium in Hildesheim , which he left at Easter 1888 due to an illness. From 1889 to Easter 1893 he was a student at the agricultural school in Hildesheim. After that he belonged for a while to the fusilier regiment Prince Albrecht of Prussia, in order to finally work in his father's and in foreign farms.

From autumn 1905, Cramm lived as an independent farmer in Timmerlah . In the following years he participated in the establishment of the Braunschweigischen Landbund . At the First World War he took from 1915 to 1917 as Landsturmmann part.

From 1920 to 1928 Friedrich Wilhelm Cramm was a member of the German People's Party (DVP) as a member of constituency 16 (South Hanover-Braunschweig) in the Reichstag in Berlin. From 1920 to 1924 Cramm was also a member of the Braunschweig State Parliament .

As a devout Protestant, Cramm was also active in the Protestant Parents Association and was a board member of the Braunschweig Evangelical Parents Association. After the death of Captain Karl von Müller in the spring of 1923, he became a member of the Braunschweig Constitutional Synod. He was also a member of the Landeskirchentag.
