Friedrich von Jagwitz (District Administrator)

Friedrich Gottlieb Jakob von Jagwitz (born July 11, 1819 in Trebnitz , † March 6, 1881 in Glogau ) was a German manor owner and administrative lawyer.

Life

Friedrich was the son of the manor owner Ludwig von Jagwitz (1793-1848) and his wife Pauline, née Reichstein (1798-1850). He attended the Fridericianum grammar school in Glogau and, after graduating from high school, studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität . In 1839 he became a member, later an honorary member, of the Corps Borussia Bonn . As an inactive he moved to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . After completing his studies, he became the owner of the Biegnitz manor in the Glogau district , of which he was district administrator from 1868 to 1881.

Jagwitz married Klara Rudelius (* 1825) in Görlitz on April 20, 1847. The following children were born from the marriage:
