Friedrich von Schierstaedt

Friedrich von Schierstaedt (born July 10, 1825 in Madlitz , † May 6, 1905 in Berlin ) was a German manor owner , foundation curator and member of parliament.

Life

Friedrich von Schierstaedt was born as the son of lieutenant ret. D. August Wilhelm von Schierstaedt (1781–1827) and his second wife Luise geb. Countess Finck von Finckenstein (1786–1862) was born. He studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Berlin law . In 1849 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . He was the owner of the Trebichow manors near Radenickel, Heidenau and Skyren in the Crossen district and curator of the Gräflichen von Voss foundations.

Von Schierstaedt was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for several electoral terms , from 1870 to 1873 as a member of the constituency Liegnitz  1 (districts Grünberg and Freystadt ) and from 1877 to his death in 1905 as a member of the constituency Frankfurt 6 (districts Züllichau and Züllichau-Schwiebus and Cross). He always belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .

He married Hedwig Wilhelmine von Bredow on June 15, 1856 (* January 22, 1834 - † July 3, 1891). The couple had several children:

  • Friedrich Georg (born November 1, 1864) ⚭ 1893 Eugenie Walter (born January 21, 1874)
  • Elisabeth Anna (born June 22, 1866) ⚭ 1892 Count Reinhard Finck von Finckenstein, Lord of Prittag
  • Kurt Hermann (born March 18, 1868), emigrated to Argentina

His son Hans Joachim followed him in a by-election on July 29, 1905 as a member of his constituency in the Prussian House of Representatives.
