Friedrich zu Solms-Baruth (1821–1904)

Friedrich I. Hermann Carl Adolph von Solms, 1st Prince of Solms-Baruth (born May 29, 1821 in Kasel , † April 19, 1904 in Berlin ) was the ruler and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Friedrich zu Solms-Baruth was the owner of the manor on Golßen - Prierow and a Landwehr officer. He inherited the Baruth estate from his father Friedrich Heinrich and was thus a hereditary member of the Prussian manor house , to which he belonged from 1879 to 1904. In 1888 he was raised to the rank of prince.

From 1867 to 1871 he was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the Customs Parliament for the constituency of Frankfurt 10 ( Calau , Luckau ) and the Conservative Party .

Marriage and offspring

On November 1, 1851, he married Rosa Teleki de Szek (1818–1890). The marriage had three children:

  • Friedrich (1853–1920),
  • Helene (born September 28, 1854 in Golssen, † April 17, 1886 in Potsdam),
  • Marie-Agnes (born July 8, 1856 in Golssen, † December 9, 1941 in Liebichau).
