The Friedrichsberg is a 276 meter high elevation in North Rhine-Westphalia in the western urban area of Wuppertal and is at the same time namesake of the residential district Friedrichsberg .
topography
The Friedrichsberg lies between the Wuppertal districts of Elberfeld and Cronenberg in the Elberfeld district .
It lies east of the 282 meter high gravel mountain and is separated from it by the valley of the Ossenbeck brook . In the east lies the valley of the Hatzenbeck brook and separates it from the Osterberg , on which the university hall is located. In the north, the Elberfelder Südstadt connects with the Arrenberg district . The elevation is largely forested.
Todays use
There are several allotment gardens on the flanks of the Friedrichsberg and a sports field under the summit of the elevation.
