Fritz Bohnenkamp

Fritz Bohnenkamp (born February 9, 1905 in Schildesche near Bielefeld , † July 2, 1971 in Vancouver , Canada ) was a German social democratic politician.

Life

From 1936 to 1944 Bohnenkamp was a lathe operator at Ankerwerke in Bielefeld. Between 1944 and 1945 he served as a soldier in World War II . From 1945 to 1946 he was mayor of Gütersloh . In 1946 he was a member of the appointed Provincial Council for the Province of Westphalia . He was also a member of the appointed Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1946 and 1947 . In 1961 he emigrated to Canada.
