Friedrich Wilhelm Eue

Friedrich (Fritz) Wilhelm Eue (* 2. December 1888 in Rathenow ; † 1. June 1937 in New York City ) was a in 1927 to Berlin active engraver and medalist .

His clients were u. a. the medal publisher and coin dealer Robert Ball (successor) as well as his authorized representative Hugo Grünthal-Oertel in Berlin and the mint Ludwig Christian Lauer in Nuremberg. The signature “Frz. Eue "stands for the nickname " Fritz "which was derived from his first name Friedrich. IWM London has over 30 works by Eue as well as those by the pilot Max Immelmann . In January 1917, a British Red Cross exhibition took place at Burlington House in London.
