Fritz Gottschalk

Fritz Gottschalk (born October 15, 1853 in Berkeln , Niederung district ; † November 18, 1917 in Sauerwalde , Ragnit district ) was a landowner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Gottschalk attended secondary school in Tilsit and the agricultural school in Lehrhof-Ragnit. From 1872 to 1883 he was economic inspector in East and West Prussia and from 1883 owner of the Sauerwalde estate in the Ragnit district. In 1876 he served as a year- old volunteer , qualified as a reserve officer, and then served as a field officer. He was also head of office, district council and district committee member and member of the Chamber of Agriculture. From 1898 until his death he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1913 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the Reichstag electoral district Gumbinnen 2 and the German Conservative Party .

He was awarded the Order of the Red Eagle, IV class .
