Fritz Kochan

Fritz Kochan (born February 22, 1855 in Niedzwetzken , Oletzko district ; † May 3, 1913 in Königsberg ) was an East Prussian estate and brickworks owner and a member of the Reichstag of the German Empire .

Life

Kochan attended high school in Lyck until 1872 , received an agricultural education and worked for several years as an agricultural officer. In 1885 he acquired his own property in Klein Nuhr in the Wehlau district and in 1889 he took over his father's property in Niedzwetzken.

On April 14, 1910, as a candidate for the National Liberal Party, he won a replacement election in the Reichstag constituency of Gumbinnen 6th district and was a member of the Reichstag until the end of the legislative period in 1912.
