Fritz Latendorf

Fritz Latendorf (born February 8, 1924 in Fissau / Ostholstein , † August 12, 2000 in Lübeck ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

From 1971 to 1988 he was deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

In addition, he campaigned on many levels for sport in Ostholstein and Schleswig-Holstein.

Life and work

After graduating from the Johann Heinrich Voss School in Eutin, Latendorf first attended the agricultural college and was drafted into military service in 1942. After he was released from captivity in 1945 , Latendorf completed an agricultural training from 1946 and worked as an independent farmer in Majenfelde from 1953 .

Fritz Latendorf was married to Thea Latendorf (born October 3, 1924 - † February 18, 2007) and had two children, Jens (* August 23, 1953) and Heike (* August 29, 1959 - † December 6, 1978).

Political party

Latendorf joined the CDU in 1954 and was a member of the board of the CDU district association Ostholstein .

MP

Latendorf was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 1962 to 1992 . There he had been a member of the board of the CDU parliamentary group from 1967 and was deputy group chairman from 1971 to 1988. In addition, Latendorf was chairman of the agricultural committee from 1965 to 1983 and of the agricultural and environmental committee from 1979. He was then deputy chairman of the Agriculture and Environmental Protection Committee from 1983 to 1987 and of the Agriculture Committee from 1987 to 1988.

Latendorf was from June 13, 1967 to September 25, 1972 Parliamentary Representative of the Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forestry and from September 26, 1972 to October 2, 1987 Parliamentary Representative of the Finance Minister of Schleswig-Holstein .

Fritz Latendorf entered the state parliament in 1988 via the state list and before that as a directly elected member of the Eutin- Nord constituency .

Public offices

Fritz Latendorf was for many years a member of the board of the Schleswig-Holstein state sports association, chairman of the Ostholstein district sports association, chairman of the Eutin sports association from 1908 (Eutin 08) and fire chief of the Majenfelde-Quisdorf volunteer fire department.

Others

The sports facility in Eutin-Fissau is called Fritz-Latendorf-Stadion.
