Fritz Süverkrüp (born March 17, 1941 ) is a German entrepreneur .

Süverkrüp operates several car dealerships in Kiel , Neumünster , Rendsburg , Itzehoe and Flensburg . From 1982 to 2004 he was President of the Kiel Chamber of Commerce and Industry ; today he is its Honorary and Vice President. Since 1989 he has been Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria in Kiel for Schleswig-Holstein with the exception of the city of Lübeck and the districts of the Duchy of Lauenburg , Stormarn and Ostholstein .

In 2002, Süverkrüp was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class "for his many years of voluntary work for the common good" , after he had already received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon in 1986. In 2012 he was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of Schleswig-Holstein by the then Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein , Peter Harry Carstensen .
