Fritz Wehrli (born July 9, 1902 in Zurich ; † August 27, 1987 in Zurich) was a Swiss Graecist and editor of the fragment collection The School of Aristotle.

Fritz Wehrli, the brother of Germanist Max Wehrli , grew up in Zurich. After studying in Zurich (with Ernst Howald ), Kiel (with Eduard Fraenkel and Felix Jacoby ) and Basel (with Peter Von der Mühll ), he initially taught as a high school teacher. He completed his habilitation in 1930 at the University of Zurich , where he remained until his retirement (titular professor 1936, associate professor 1941, full professor of classical philology, especially Greek 1952–1967). His main interest was the intellectual history of antiquity, especially the history of ethics, as well as the history of motifs. In 1944, together with other specialists from Switzerland, he founded the Museum Helveticum magazine in order to create a publication that was independent of Germany. With the collection of the fragments of the school of Aristotle he created an indispensable working tool.
