Fritz Wilhelm Emanuel Peters
Fritz Wilhelm Emanuel Peters (born January 21, 1865 in Ludwigslust ; † 1932 ) was a German civil engineer.
Life
Fritz Peters, son of the secret veterinary council Friedrich Peters, attended the secondary schools in Ludwigslust and Schwerin . After graduating from high school, initially worked practically in Esslingen . In 1885 he went to the Civil Engineering at due Technical University of Hanover and was a member of the Corps Macaro-Visurgia Hannover . After completing his studies in 1889, he subsequently passed the Prussian state examinations. First he worked in the railroad and in hydraulic engineering. In 1900 he was appointed city planning officer and head of the municipal civil engineering administration in Leipzig .
Peters was chairman of the supervisory board of the Leipzig-Dölitzer Kohlenwerke trade union and a member of the supervisory board of Leipziger Autobahn AG , Kraftverkehr Freistaat Sachsen AG and Leipziger Flugplatz AG . He was a voting member of the technical committee for the Mittelland Canal and a member of the Leipzig City Council. As the author of structural engineering articles, he published in specialist journals.
