Fritz von Steinaecker (born February 17, 1849 in Rosenfelde ; † April 16, 1918 there ; actually Karl Friedrich Freiherr von Steinaecker ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

origin

His parents were the manor owner and politician Karl von Steinaecker (* February 7, 1809; † November 10, 1893) and his wife Euphemie von Eickstedt-Peterswaldt (* 1823; † 1862).

Life

He received instruction in the home and in the Pädagogium Putbus and studied two semesters Law in Berlin . On October 1, 1869, he joined the 1st Guard Dragoons Regiment , in which he took part in the war in 1870/71 and was an active officer from 1870 to 1876, until he was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd class as a first lieutenant . Then he took over the goods located in the Greifenhagen district . He was also a member of the district committee and the district council, as well as a district delegate. He was also a member of the Provincial Council, the Provincial Committee and the Provincial Parliament of the Pomerania Province . From 1896 he was General Landscape Councilor, from 1910 to 1918 General Landscape Director of the Pomeranian Landscape . From 1904 to 1918 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Stettin 3 Randow , Greifenhagen and the German Conservative Party .

family

He married Countess Dorothea von Schlieffen on June 2, 1880 in Sandow (* July 13, 1858). The couple had a son: Leo Adolf Friedrich Karl (born April 10, 1882), Rittmeister a. D.
