The Fuerzas de Acciones Especiales ( FAES ) is a special unit of the Policía Nacional Bolivariana in Venezuela . It was founded in 2016. At this point in time, there were other special units that had a similar range of tasks, such as Fuerza de Operaciones Especiales Los Cazadores or Grupo de Acciones de Comando . It is believed that it is an instrument for Nicolas Maduro to maintain power . The unit is criticized for carrying out extrajudicial shootings .

Extrajudicial shootings

Human rights organizations and politicians criticize both the shooting of citizens on charges of everyday crime and on charges of terrorism . The latter includes who is z.
