Reviews

With Full Metal Village , a documentary film received the prestigious award for the first time in the history of the Max Ophüls film festival . The jury of the Max Ophüls Prize 2007 praised the film as humorous and multi-layered, as an "entertaining documentary that provides a fascinating picture of German identity".

The lexicon of the international film judges: “The dramaturgy focuses just as attentively as it is amusing on the encounter between rural culture and young music lovers, whereby it is not about problem-oriented deep drilling, but rather about pleasant excursions into sensitivities, whose charm not only affects the protagonist, but not least due to the talent of the director in dealing with her interview partners.
