Funk D'Void

Funk D'Void (born March 10, 1971 in Glasgow ; actually Lars Sandberg ) is a producer in the field of electronic dance music . The project was for the mythical George Clinton -Figur Sir Nose D'Void of Funk named. Sandberg is also known by the aliases Francois Dubois and Frank Dubois .

biography

In 1994 Sandberg and his friend Ken Sherman began producing their first tracks as United States Of Sound . In 1995, Sandberg's musical career gained momentum when he sent a demo tape to Soma Records and Jack Me Off was released. This track ended up in the record boxes with DJs like Sven Väth , Jeff Mills and Laurent Garnier . In 1997 the debut album Technoir was released , later Sandberg released several EPs as well as the album Game On with producer Nigel Hayes as Chaser . In 2001 the second album DOS was released , which was well received by critics and fans alike. In the same year the track Diabla was released , which was voted one of the best tracks of 2001 in the techno magazine Groove . This was remixed by artists like The Hacker , Samuel Session and Kevin Saunderson . In November 2003 the single Emotional Content was released . In 2004, Volume Freak was their third album.
